Modbus Control Software (Jambui)
Jambui (Just Another Modbus User Interface) is a general-purpose Modbus reader/writer for bench, lab, and field work. It connects over RTU/ASCII (serial) or TCP (Ethernet), reads and writes selected registers continuously, and provides live views, logging, and scripting. With a valid register map, you can audit values, tweak settings, and verify integrations without a PLC.
- Verify wiring, addressing, baud/port settings, and device comms
- Read/write specific registers; jog/position checks during commissioning
- Continuous monitoring with F5/F6/F7 read cycles; capture logs for diagnostics
